Darren Isom is a partner at The Bridgespan Group’s San Francisco office, where he focuses on developing bold, community-centered strategies. Previously, Darren founded and led the Memphis Music Initiative, a $20M effort to strengthen youth and community music engagement for low-income, Black, and Latino communities. A seventh-generation New Orleans native, Darren is a graduate of Howard University, Institut d’Études Politiques de Paris, and Columbia Business School’s Institute for Nonprofit Management. He is an advocate for disconnected youth and LGBT communities of color and serves on several boards, including Beloved Community of New Orleans and Collage Dance Collective.
